What is skip tracking in Pick 3?
Skip tracking measures how many draws have passed since a digit last appeared in a specific position. It is always position-specific — the skip of digit 4 in position 1 is independent of digit 4's skip in position 3.
The math: with 10 possible digits per position, each is expected to appear roughly once every 10 draws. Late threshold: skip exceeds 1.5 times the expected interval. In a 30-draw window, a skip of 5 or more qualifies as late. Very late: skip exceeds 2 times the expected interval, or 6 or more draws in a 30-draw window.
Important: a very late digit is statistically overdue — not guaranteed to appear next. Lottery draws are independent and the machine has no memory. Skip tracking is one signal among nine in the DailyNumberPicker.com engine, weighted at 15% in the balanced preset.
