What is NY Pick 3?

NY Pick 3 — officially called Daily Numbers — is a lottery game where you choose three digits, each from 0 to 9. The NY Lottery draws three digits twice per day, every day of the week. Match your chosen digits to the drawn digits based on your bet type and you win.

The game has run continuously since 1980, making it one of the longest-running Pick 3 games in the United States. As of 2026 that's over 32,000 individual draws combined across midday and evening.

Pick 3 tickets cost $0.50 or $1 per play. You can play straight, box, straight/box, or combo. Each bet type has different odds and different payouts.
